Resident Evil 3 - Reset the Circuit Breakers to restore power in the Substation
How to bring the power online - without getting overwhelmed in the process.
Resetting the Circuit Breakers is your main objective in the Substation - the first major objective in Resident Evil 3.
These are four panels you must activate - all while avoiding the flea-like enemies swarming around you and their Parasite effect.

How to reset the Circuit Breakers in Resident Evil 3's Substation
The Substation maze-like area crawling with creatures which can infect you with Parasites. Within are four Circuit Breakers you must activate.
Specifically, you need to go:
- First left then left again, and it's at the dead end
- From here, take the second right to another dead end
- Turn back and head down the long corridor you start on, following it round left and left again
- Head through the gate by the third circuit breaker, where there's a ladder. Grab the Chad's Notes file at the top, then across the walkway to the far corner of the Substation. Follow the route round to the fourth circuit breaker
All this is easier said than done because it's filled with these creatures. If they pounce on you, you'll be infected with Parasites. In our experience, you can continue exploring in this state - you'll just be moving slower than usual. There are Green Herbs to find in some dead ends which don't result in Circuit Breakers, so keep an eye out to clear this effect.
As for the creatures - they die with three Handgun rounds, so it's worth clearing as many as you can. They also also swipe at you as well as infect you, so be wary of them chipping away at your health.
Otherwise, we recommend you sprint through this area as much as we can - and when you throw the final circuit breaker, the fleshy wall behind you will burst. Don't attack any though - just run past them all the way back to the start and you shouldn't get attacked along the way.
Once back through, head up the stairs and into the Control Room, where a cutscene will see you restore power to the Subway. Finally!
