Zelda - Kayra Mah, A Brother's Roast quest and Greedy Hill trial in Breath of the Wild
How to find and solve Kayra Mah, A Brother's Roast quest and Greedy Hill trial in the Eldin region.
Kayra Mah is one of the many shrines located throughout Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Found in the Eldin region, it involves the A Brother's Roast quest and Greedy Hill trial.
If you need help finding and solving other Shrines, our Shrine location maps page can help, while our Zelda: Breath of the Wild walkthrough and guide covers other aspects of the game.
Where to find Kayra Mah and A Brother's Roast quest
To start this Shrine quest, make your way to Goron City near Death Mountain (starting the nearby Divine Beast will see you travel here) and head to the houses on the lowest level to the south west.
Choose the last one on the right, and chat to Baldon, who has a quest to give.
Go through the dialogue options to learn his brother has gone to Gorko Tunnel, southwest of Gorko Lake.
The easiest way to get there is to fast travel to the Daqa Koh shrine (which is found on the way to Death Mountain itself), then go south, across the lake, then south west, where you'll find the tunnel.
Go inside and chat to Gonguron, and you'll be tasked with getting a rock roasts from down the hill nearby. Go outside, turn left and down.
Beyond the lava pit at the end are several rock roasts. Grab one, and carry it to the top of the hill.
Note on the way are many enemies and rolling boulders that'll inconveniently spawn in your path. Since getting hit will drop the roast and roll it into the lava, it pays to set it down and clear the way first.
Once you reach the top, head back into the tunnel and access to the Shrine is yours.
Kayra Mah and the Greedy Hill trial
The Shrine itself is pretty unique; it's a steep hill with objects - some good, like Rupees, and some bad, like giant rolling metal balls of serious injury - flying your way.
Use Stasis on the latter so you can get past unscaved, and scoop up the former where you can. Go along the right lane to get a chest with a Ruby inside, and at the top, turn around and glide to the nearby ledge with a chest, containing Bomb Arrows.
