The Witcher 3 Wolven gear: How to get all Wolven armor and Wolven sword locations
How to complete the Wolven gear sets.
The Witcher 3 Wolven gear - or Wolf school gear - set was introduced as part of the post-launch DLC for The Witcher 3.
It's a medium armour set and one that is a fairly good at all things, making it good for those who like to mix up their play style.
Many of the diagrams are found with Kaer Morhen, and unlike the other armour sets, you don't need the Mastercrafted items in order to craft the Grandmaster items.

The Witcher 3 has a vast array of different armour sets to wear. While many of these can simply be found lying around the world, the most powerful items must be crafted using diagrams you can find out in the world. The best armours are often the Witcher School gear, each of which has a quest line associated with it.
While you can always follow the quests themselves, you can also just go and pick up the diagrams anyway.

Standard Wolven Gear, Sword and Armor locations
Wolven Steel Sword
This diagram can be found within the Bastion to the west of Kaer Morhen. You can find the diagram near the back of the courtyard on the floor.
To craft this, you need:
1 Leather Strap
2 Steel Ingots
1 Monster Brain
1 Monster Eye
Wolven Silver Sword
Head north of Kaer Morhen this time and make your way to the Ruined Watchtower. The diagram can be found up a small set of stairs on your right as you enter the area.
To craft this, you need:
1 Leather Scrap
3 Silver Ingots
1 Fifth Essence
1 Monster Brain
Wolven Armour
To the southwest of Kaer Morhen is a Signal Tower that is in ruins. Within it you'll find a half-built portal that is missing one of its crystals. Have a look around the lower part of the building on the left-hand side for some scaffolding that will lead to the crystal. Put it where it belongs and activate the portal using Aard. Once you've jumped through the portal that appears you'll be below the tower. Kill the enemies and grab the diagrams from a skeleton near some roots.

Back to the Ruined Watchtower in Kaer Morhen again. Head up the stone ramp to the scaffolding and you'll find the diagram in a chest.
To craft this, you need:

1 Monster Claw
1 Powdered Monster Tissue

Head to Crow's Perch in Velen and go into the well in the Baron's Estate. Once you're at the bottom, face the water, then stick to the right-hand wall to find the chest.
To craft this, you need:
1 Wolven Silver Sword
2 Leather Straps
1 Monster Egg
1 Monster Tongue
2 Meteorite Silver Ingot
Enhanced Wolven Chest Armour
Just to the south of Fyke Island is a tiny bit of land surrounded by underwater ruins. Have a look around using your Witcher senses for a Witcher mark and then dive down to find the diagram in a chest underwater, there's lots of good bits to find here, so explore fully.
To craft this, you need:
1 Wolven Armor
3 Hardened Leather
4 Linen
5 Monster Feathers
1 Meteorite Silver plate
Enhanced Wolven Gauntlets
These are best picked up when you're hunting the Forktail with Eskel as part of the Ugly Baby quest. Once you've entered the cave to the south of Kaer Morhen you'll be able to follow the path to the right and climb some rocks.
You'll find the diagram in a chest on the left-hand wall once you're in the main cavern.
To craft this, you need:

2 Leather Straps
1 Meteorite Ore

Enhanced Wolven Trousers
Head to the Lakeside Hut in Kaer Morhen and take a boat to the small bit of water between the tiny landmass and the mainland. Just below the surface is a chest with this diagram.
To craft this, you need:
1 Wolven Trousers
1 Cured Leather
4 Leather Scraps
1 Meteorite Ore
1 Monster Blood
2 Silk

Head to the Grotto in Velen and go inside. Take either path in front of you and when they converge turn around and you'll find the chest there.
To craft this, you need:
1 Wolven Boots
1 Hardened Leather
4 Leather Scraps
1 Meteorite Ore
1 Monster Essence

Superior Wolven Gear and Armor locations
Superior Wolven Steel Sword
Warp to Lofoten and then head west to the ruins. You'll be able to climb up some ledges to reach them properly. Drop down through the hole you find and walk to the room filled with gas. Cast Igni to clear it out and run to the back-left and grab the diagram from the chest before running back to safety. The gas comes back very quickly and is deadly.
To craft this, you need:

Superior Wolven Silver Sword
Go to Arinbjorn in Skellige and go south to where there are three burial mounds. Go to the one that is furthest east of the three and check around in the nooks to find a small chest with the diagram inside.
To craft this, you need:

Superior Wolven Chest Armour
Southeast of Fyresdal is a Harpy monster nest. Kill what you can before heading back to the entrance and hugging the right interior wall. You'll be able to jump up onto the wall itself and can follow it along to find a chest with the diagram.
To craft this, you need:
1 Enhanced Wolven Armor
2 Cured Draconid Leather
2 Dimeritium Plate
1 Monster Heart
1 Monster Hide
Superior Wolven Gauntlets
Head south from Kaer Morhen to find an Iron mine. Once inside, follow the path along and go left when you can, you'll enter a chamber with an Earth Elemental and an altar. The chest is on the altar.
To craft this, you need:

1 Meteorite Silver Plate
2 Monster Tongue

Superior Wolven Trousers
Northeast of Kaer Morhen is a road which seemingly leads nowhere, well, it turns out there's actually a cave to be found. Head to it and keep an eye out for some Aardable stalagmites on the left-hand side as you go through the caverns, just before the steps you'll find the chest hidden by these rocks.
To craft this, you need:
1 Enhanced Wolven Trousers
1 Leather Strap
1 Meteorite Silver Ingot
1 Monster Egg
2 Silk
Superior Wolven Boots
Follow the river south of Kaer Morhen around to the east. As you go you'll find a cave, go inside until you reach a larger area. On the right-hand side are more stalagmites to Aard and your prize is behind them.

To the west of Byways is a Spoils of War marker. You'll find a sunken ship here that you can enter from above. Underneath the staircase you swim past as you enter is the chest containing the diagram.
To craft this, you need:

2 Leather Scraps
1 Monster Egg
1 Siren Vocal Chord
Mastercrafted Wolven Silver Sword
Far to the east of the Ancient Oak is a marshy area. If you head there you'll be able to see a large tree with a Fiend in front of it. Kill the beast before looting the nearby corpses to find a key, then use that key to unlock the gate and claim your reward from the chest within.
To craft this, you need:
1 Superior Wolven Silver Sword
2 Dimeritium Ingot
2 Leather Straps
1 Monster Feather
1 Monster Heart

Go back to Byways and head to the west of it to the strange temple. There is a large brazier that houses the diagram within it.
To craft this, you need:

Just to the northwest of Boxholm is a ruin on a hill. You can find the chest containing the diagram on a small ruined wall next to the road.
To craft this, you need:
1 Superior Wolven Gauntlets

2 Monster Tongue

Mastercrafted Wolven Trousers
Go to the Old Watchtower marker in Skellige and you'll find the chest sitting on top of the archway, it requires a couple of good jumps, so take your time getting it.
To craft this, you need:

Go to the Dorve Ruins in Skellige and make your way to the southeast corner of them. You'll spot a chest that's nearly on it's end, the diagram is within.
To craft this, you need:

Grandmaster Wolven Gear and Armor locations
Grandmaster Wolven gear location
Head to Termes Palace Ruins and go directly east until you find some tents. The map to the Grandmaster gear is under a bench there. Then head to the marked spot to find a purple barrier, just before said barrier is a corpse with a Purple Ruby you can use to dispel the barrier. Then you can head inside to get the loot.
Grandmaster Wolven Chest Armour, Trousers, and Boots
Fight through the enemies after the barrier until you come to a dead end with a cracked wall. Aard blast through the wall and carry on until the centipede appears. Kill that, then go through yet another broken wall. Drop down and go through the archway, there is a satchel on the floor with these three diagrams.

Go back the way you've come and use your Witcher senses to find a skeleton who holds the rest of the diagrams next to a large rock ledge.
