How 7th Anniversary Party works in Pokémon Go

7th Anniversary Party is a timed research quest which you unlock in Pokémon Go by purchasing the ticket for said quest before Tuesday 11th July at 8pm (local time).

After purchasing the quest, you have until Wednesday 12th July at 8pm (local time) to complete the quest and claim all of its rewards. The quest will vanish forever, taking its rewards with it, if you let this deadline pass.

Aside from this deadline, 7th Anniversary Party works exactly the same as any other pay-to-play research quest in Pokémon Go; the quest step comes with a selection of challenges you need to complete, granting you rewards for every task and the step itself. You continue doing this until the quest is fully complete!

The Wild Area 2024: Global event is this weekend! Throughout it you can catch Pokémon during the habitat hours, use Safari Balls, catch Mighty Pokémon, battle Gigantamax Toxtricity, obtain both Toxtricity Forms and catch a Studded Jacket Snorlax. If you've purchased an event ticket, you can also complete the An Accomplished Trainer quest. You can now catch Dynamax Pokémon through Max Battles. First, however, you need to visit Power Spots to collect Max Particles and complete the To the Max! quest. Don't forget to try out Routes, Gift Exchange and Party Play while you're hunting down rare Pokémon, fighting in the Go Battle League or competing in PokéStop Showcases.

How to purchase 7th Anniversary Party in Pokémon Go

If you want to play through the 7th Anniversary Party timed research quest in Pokémon, then you need to purchase a ticket for it before Tuesday 11th July at 8pm (local time).

A ticket for this research quest costs £1.99, $2 or the equivalent price in your local currency. While tickets are nonrefundable and can not be purchased using PokéCoins, it can be gifted to any players who you’re at Great Friend or higher Friendship Levels with.

You need to visit the in-game store, which is accessed via Pokémon Go’s main menu, to purchase a ticket. Once in the shop, you need to find the banner advertising the quest.

Next, select the banner to access more information about the quest and the purchase options. You now need to select 'Buy' and follow the purchase instructions specific for your device.

After being purchased, 7th Anniversary Party will automatically appear in the 'Today' tab like all timed research quests.

If you do purchase this quest, you need to complete it and claim all of its rewards before Wednesday 12th July at 8pm (local time). Once this time passes, the quest will vanish forever.
