Oreburgh City and the nearby Oreburgh Mine are your next destinations in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, following on from Route 203 and Oreburgh Gate in your adventure.

Oreburgh City Pokémon, trainers and items
As soon as you arrive in Oreburgh City, a young trainer will come up to you and drag you to the Gym, where you'll see Barry already boasting about having earned his badge from winning there.
Barry mentions the leader has gone to Oreburgh Mine, so after you've taken the time to explore the city, that should be your next destination.
Around the city, note that there's a man in the Oreburgh Mining Museum who's close to a breakthrough in restoring old fossils into Pokémon, so you should come back here if you ever get a fossil!
There are a couple of items to collect and things to do - you can trade a Machop (catchable on Route 207 which you can pop into briefly now if you like) for an Abra, for instance - otherwise it's on to the mine itself, to the south of the city!

Your journey begins with selecting your starter Pokémon near Twinleaf Town, before visiting Sandgem Town and Jubilife City. To become a Pokémon Master, you need to defeat the Gym Leaders in Oreburgh City, Eterna City, Veilstone City, Pastoria City and Hearthome City, along with three others.

Oreburgh Mine Pokémon, trainers and items
Oreburgh Mine has a couple of areas: the exterior, which is an area full of mining equipment in the southern area of Oreburgh City, and then the interior of the mine itself, which has two floors.
Roark, the Gym Leader you're after, is located at the back of the bottom most floor. There are couple of items and trainers to find here, plus a new Pokémon to catch in Onix.

How to defeat Oreburgh Gym Leader Roark
Once you've found Roark at the back of the mine, head to the Gym to take him on!
Roark will be your biggest challenge yet. His Geodude and Onix will go down relatively easily to their usual counters, namely Fighting, Grass, and Water-type attacks - although note that if his Pokémon gets down to low health, he will use a Potion to top it back up.
The third Pokémon is where things get slightly trickier - he has a pretty strong Cranidos, which has very high Attack stats for this early in the game, and some high-damage attacks as well like Headbutt (which is Normal-type) and Bulldoze (Ground-type), and it can also outspeed some of your slower Pokémon.
Your best best is to use either a Machop you caught from popping into Route 7, or Grass or Water-type attacks from your starters or a Psyduck or Budew/Roselia. Paralyzing it with a move like Stun Spore (learned by Budew) will also dramatically lower its Speed stat, helping you get some hits in!
Once defeated, Roark gives you some Stickers for decorating your Poké Balls, 5x TM76s, which contain Stealth Rock, a useful tactical move, and the Coal Badge, which allows you to use the Rock Smash hidden move in the wild! You can now progress through your next destination, which is Ravaged Path, to the north of Route 204. You can also explore a bit more of Oreburgh Gate, too, which you pass through on the way back there anyway.
