Gible is a dragon and ground-type Pokémon, which evolves into Gabite and, eventually, Garchomp in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
A well trained Gible can turn into a powerful Garchomp, but first you need to know how to get Gible.
Once you've caught a Gible, it's a good idea to research Gible's moveset and base stats, so you can transform into the perfect asset for your team.

How to get Gible in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
There are three ways to get Gible in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl without having to trade with another player.
The first is to catch one in the basement level of the Wayward Cave, which is located at the northern end of Route 206. This basement level can't be accessed by entering via the easy-to-see entrance; instead, you need to use the secret entrance hidden beneath the Cycling Road.
First, however, you need to do some preparations and defeat the sixth Gym Leader, Byron, in Canalave City, so you can use HM Strength outside of battle. Having a Pokémon which knows Flash - TM70 - will also make the cave easier to navigate. TM70 can be found in Oreburgh Gate or purchased at the Veilstone City Department Store for $1000.
You should also purchase an Escape Rope, a couple of Repels for the grass on Route 206 and PokéBalls - find our recommendations further along in this section.
Once you've entered the Wayward Cave through its secret entrance, use Strength to move the boulder out of the way and go down the stairs to reach the basement. You may want to use the bike to explore further, but staying by the entrance won't harm your Gible hunting.
Gible has quite a low spawn rate, so it might take some time to find one, and when you do it will be between Level 15 to 17.
For this reason, we recommend using a Pokémon close to this level range or the move False Swipe, to lower its level. Inflicting a status condition, such as sleep or paralysis, will also increase your chances of catching a Gible. Since Gible is a dragon and ground-type Pokémon, it will be weak to dragon, fairy and ice-moves. Just avoid knocking it out!
When it comes to Poké Balls, we recommend using a Quick Ball as your first choice, because it will be more effective towards the beginning of a battle. If this fails, immediately switch to either Ultra Balls or Dusk Balls; Ultra Balls are far more likely to catch Pokémon compared to others, while Dusk Balls are more effective at night or in caves.
These are also good PokéBall choices for catching Gible using the following method.
Gible can also be found in three of the Pokémon Hideaways in the Grand Underground - Fountainspring Cave, Riverbank Cave and Still-Water Cavern. You need the seventh Gym Badge, the Icicle Badge, for Gible to appear and its level will match whatever Pokémon Hideaway level requirement you're currently meeting.
Finally, Gible can be obtained by breeding a male and female Gabite or Garchomp - or simply one of these Pokémon with Ditto - at the Pokémon Daycare Nursery in Solaceon Town. Visit regularly until you receive an egg and then go for a long walk until your Gible hatches!
This method is quite useful for creating a Gible with perfect IVs, though it will hatch at Level 1.

Gible, Gabite and Garchomp moveset in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Below you can find the moves Gible, Gabite and Garchomp can learn through levelling up in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
While the moveset doesn't change between evolutions, the levels at which the Pokémon can learn these moves does, so, if there's a move you especially want, it's a good idea to prevent the Pokémon from evolving. This can be done by pressing 'B' as it attempts to evolve or by giving the Pokémon an Everstone to hold.
You can also use a variety of TMs on these Pokémon, so feel free to experiment outside of the set moveset.
