Harry Potter Wizards Unite Master Notes allow you to speed up Potion brewing in Niantic's location-based game.
Cauldron brewing allows you to combine ingredients you find out in the world to create Potions, which can help you tackle Foundables a little easier by reducing their threat level. If you play Pokémon Go, think of them a lot like using Berries on hard-to-catch creatures.
With Master Notes, you can enter a series of gestures to speed up the brewing process. Not by much - 15% - but on longer brews, it really makes a difference.

Harry Potter Wizards Unite Potions, Brewing and how to enter Master Notes explained
First, you need to reach level 4 on your account to unlock the ability to start brewing Potions.
Once you do, you can select a Potion to brew from a list. Provided you have the ingredients at hand, then it'll start brewing.
Every time you want to brew a potion using a series of ingredients in a cauldron, you have to wait a set amount of time before it's ready. Though you can queue up multiple potions at once (which brews automatically once the last one is finished) the process will take some time.
With Master Notes, you can enter a series of gestures to speed up the brewing process. At first, Master Notes are invisible - with the game giving you just the number of gestures you need to enter. Think of it as a hidden cheat code you have to uncover.
How to enter Master Notes in Harry Potter Wizard Unite
To enter Master Notes, on the potion brewing screen, tap the spoon handle that's on the right side of the cauldron. This will then zoom you in, and reveal the number of Master Notes you have to enter as blank squares at the top of the screen.
Once you successfully enter the Master Note - whether by experimentation, or the list below - then the length of the brewing time will be reduced by 15%.
To unlock the series of Master Notes gestures permanently, you must enter it three times for that specific Potion type, then the Master Notes will no longer be hidden. You still have to enter it, mind, but you don't have to refer to a Master Notes solutions list like this one to remember what it is.

After that you’ll need to learn how to battle, so you can compete in Wizarding Challenges at Fortresses or how to use Greenhouses, so that you can perform Potion Master Notes.
