Titanfall test gameplay footage hits the internet
Textures reduced to 25 per cent resolution, Respawn says.
There is a test of Titanfall going on right now, and so footage has leaked onto the internet.
A raft of videos are currently online showing Respawn's multiplayer shooter in action, but they may not be around for long. Titanfall publisher EA, which had those accepted into the test sign a non-disclosure agreement, has spent the weekend having videos of the game removed from the likes of YouTube.
Last week EA sent out invitations to what it described as a "technical test" of the Xbox One version of the game. It ends tonight. Respawn has yet to announce a beta. The game launches in March on PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Below is a selection of gameplay videos. Catch them while you can.
Following the leak and some negative comments about the quality of the game's visuals, Respawn programmer Rayme Vinson took to Twitter to reveal the resolution of the textures in the test version of the game are reduced to 25 per cent.
"Huge difference," he said. "Leaked pics don't represent final game."
"If you see a 256x256 texture in the Alpha, it's actually a 512x512 texture in the real game. It'll be 4x bigger."
