Our complete locations list of the many Zygarde Cells and Cores in the Alola region.
For the first time in a Pokémon game, there are collectibles to find throughout the adventure. Pokémon Sun and Moon Zygarde Cells and Cores are used to create types of Zygarde Pokémon, with the more components you collect, the more options you have to customise the creature(s) you like.
Once you have collected the Zygarde Core when visiting Akala Island for the first time in the story, Zygarde Cores and Cells will appear throughout the game.
It's worth noting that it's easiest to follow the specific locations of each cell within the context of our Pokémon Sun and Moon Walkthrough, as they're taken contextually from how you'll naturally be progressing along each route. If it helps, keep both guides open and collect-as-you-go!
Pokemon Sun and Moon Zygarde Cell locations
To create Zygarde itself, you'll need to pay a visit to Dexio and Sina over at Aether House, off Route 15.
There, you can use the PC to combine the cells into Zygarde's various forms, depending on the number of cells you've collected.
There are 10 per cent, 50 per cent and 100 per cent forms, whilst you can also use the cells to make multiple Zygardes, too - so up to ten 10 per cent Zygardes, or two 50 per cent ones, for example.
Melemele Island
Since you'll only get the Zygarde Core at the start of the second island (Akala Island) you won't see any first time round. However, post-credits or if you decide to backtrack, the Cells will start appearing.

Pokémon Sun and Moon Zygarde Core locations
There are five Zygarde Cores in total, many of which you should bump into as part of the story (you're looking for a pink sparkle in the environment). All of these will teach your Zygarde a new move, as mentioned below.
