Pok¨Śmon Go Unova Stone - how to get the Unova Stone for Chandelure and many more
Everything we currently know about the Unova Stone in Pok¨Śmon Go.
Pokémon Go's Unova Stone is an special evolution item that allows you to evolve Pokémon from Gen 5 just like the Sinnoh Stone.
Unlike the Sinnoh Stone, however, the Unova Stone won't be used to evolve Pokémon from previous generations. Instead, it will be used to complete many of those introduced in Gen 5.
The Unova Stone is one of many special evolution items in Pokémon Go, including the King's Rock for Slowking and Politoed, the Metal Coat for Steelix and Scizor, the Up-Grade for Porygon 2 and the Dragon Scale for Kingdra.

How to get a Unova Stone in Pokémon Go
Thanks to Chrales from Twitter, we first learned of the Unova Stone through a leak and, from its description, we know that it can "make certain species of Pokémon evolve."
Similar to the Sinnoh Stone, it is possible (but not guaranteed) to receive a Unova Stone by:
- Collecting your seventh day Field Research reward
- Defeat a Team Go Rocket Leader
- Defeating Giovanni
It is possible more Unova Stone sources will be rolled out over time - Sinnoh Stone can also be found by defeating fellow trainers in PVP Trainer Battles, for example.
Until then, completing those seven day Field Research rewards is the way to source those Unova Stones.
The Dual Destiny Season is here! It begins with the Just My Cup of Tea event, which also sees the arrival of Sinistea and the Dual Destiny quest in Pokémon Go! You can now catch Dynamax Pokémon through Max Battles. First, however, you need to visit Power Spots to collect Max Particles and complete the To the Max! quest. Don't forget to try out Routes, Gift Exchange and Party Play while you're hunting down rare Pokémon, fighting in the Go Battle League or competing in PokéStop Showcases.
