Flabébé and its evolutions - Floette and Florges - can now be caught in Pokémon Go.
There are five different Flabébé forms - with the difference being their flower colour - and a few are regionally exclusive. Due to this, it's a good idea to know exactly which Flabébé flower colours are available in your region.
Once you've caught a Flabébé, you may want to add its evolutions to your Pokédex and, to obtain this Pokémon's final evolution, you need to know how to evolve Floette into Florges.

How to get a Flabébé in Pokémon Go explained
Flabébé originates from Gen 6 and, along with Floette and Florges, was released into Pokémon Go during February 2022.
During the Valentine's Day 2022 event, Flabébé can only be found in the wild.
Since it can only be found in the wild, we recommend keeping a close eye on your Pokémon radar, so you know when a Flabébé is close by. It's a good idea to catch as many as possible during the Valentine's Day 2022 event, because you're going to need a substantial amount of Flabébé Candy to reach its third stage evolution.
At the time of writing, we don't know what Flabébé's spawn rate will be once the Valentine's Day 2022 event ends. It's safe to assume, however, that like the other Gen 6 Pokémon Flabébé will be a rare spawn. For this reason, we recommend catching at least one before the end of the event.
Flabébé evolution: How to evolve Flabébé into Floette and Florges in Pokémon Go
Flabébé is part of a three staged evolution line - evolving in Floette and, from this Pokémon, evolving into Florges. There are also five different colour options for each of these Pokémon in Pokémon Go, which you can learn more about in the section below.
To evolve a Flabébé into Floette, you need 25 Flabébé Candy and, to reach Florges, you need 100 Flabébé Candy and obtain 20 hearts with a Floette as your buddy.
Before you start working towards adding Florges to your Pokédex, we recommend searching out a Flabébé with high IV stats. Since the evolution process is quite long, it's a good idea to invest some time into creating a strong Florges for raids and the Go Battle League where its fairy-typing may be the advantage you need.
Once you've picked your Flabébé - make it your buddy Pokémon! You can now start gathering the required 20 hearts by playing with it, feeding it berries and taking photos of Flabébé, among other activities.
Giving your Flabébé a Poffin will also increase the amount of hearts you'll receive.
When it comes to collecting the Flabébé Candy, we recommend using either Pinap Berries or Silver Pinap Berries whenever you attempt to catch a Flabébé. This will double the amount of candy you'll receive, making it easier to collect the required 125 Flabébé Candy.
You can also use any Rare Candies you have or earn Flabébé Candy by walking with either a Flabébé or Folette as your buddy.
The Valentine's Day 2022 event also has a double catch candy bonus, so, during this event, it's a good idea to catch every Flabébé you encounter. Through the combined use of Pinap Berries, buddy feature and this event bonuses, you should be able to collect a sizable batch of Flabébé candy.
The Dual Destiny Season is here! It brings the Holiday Part 2 event with it. You can now catch Dynamax Pokémon through Max Battles. First, however, you need to visit Power Spots to collect Max Particles and complete the To the Max! quest. Don't forget to try out Routes, Gift Exchange and Party Play while you're hunting down rare Pokémon, fighting in the Go Battle League or competing in PokéStop Showcases.
Regionally exclusive Flabébé flower colours forms in Pokémon Go explained
Each Flabébé in Pokémon Go can have one of five different flower colours, with three colours being regionally exclusive to specific locations around the globe. This means that, no matter where you live, there are three Flabébé variants available in your region.
The flower colour of your Flabébé also determines the flower colours of your future Floette and Florges, so, if you want to collect all of the Pokémon forms for this evolution line, you'll have to catch a lot of Flabébés.
Here are the five Flabébé flower colours, along with which regions they can be found in:
Flower Colour | Region | |
---|---|---|
Blue | Asia-Pacific region | |
Orange | Worldwide | |
Red | Europe, the Middle East and Africa | |
Yellow | The Americas | |
White | Worldwide |
Good luck catching and evolving Flabébé!
