Halo Infinite Killing Spree medals list and how to get a Killing Spree
Hammer time.
The Killing Spree is a series of medals in Halo Infinite's multiplayer mode.
Requiring five kills without dying to unlock, a Killing Spree challenge can be the focus of some weekly challenges and events.
Though it sounds simple on paper, in practice a Killing Spree can be difficult to pull off - but focusing on the right mode and weaponry can make a huge difference.

How to get a Killing Spree: How many kills is a Killing Spree in Halo Infinite?
As with previous Halo games, to get a Killing Spree in Halo Infinite you must kill five enemies without dying.
This is not to be confused with other kill-based medals, such as a Killing Frenzy (10 kills without dying), a Killjoy (ending another player's killing spree) or a Killtacular (killing five enemies in quick succession) - though this latter one will also unlock the Killing Spree medal in the process.
If you are aiming for a Killing Spree as part of a weekly challenge, then make sure there aren't any additional requirements you need to factor in, such as playing in a specific mode or in events such as Fracture: Tenrai's Fiesta mode.
How to complete the Killing Spree challenge in Halo Infinite
Getting a Killing Spree is one of those feats you might have already completed by accident, but becomes so much more difficult when you are under pressure to achieve as part of a challenge before the weekly reset is up.
Though practice and getting used to Halo Infinite's feel, maps and loadouts is the most primary way to improve your prowess to the point where Killing Sprees are more achievable, there are other best practices to help you get kills without dying:
- Use a Gravity Hammer or explosives. These are more common place in modes such as Fiesta where loadouts are randomised, and allow you to not only clear groups of enemies quickly, but can do so in a single well-placed hit. The Gravity Hammer in particular is our favourite method, as you can often surprise players from round corners, and / or if they are clustering around objectives and vehicles, but does leave you open to attack if you miss. Another useful weapon is the Energy Sword - but this only works one-to-one, and can leave you open to attack after a lunge - so is best used by sneaking around the map and surprising players before they can take you down.
- Play defensively, patiently and within a zone. There is the urge to rush into every encounter to get as many kills as possible, but it's better to hang back and shoot from a distance, let enemies come to you, or only go toe-to-toe when you know you can win an encounter. We recommend choosing a quieter area of the map, or covering a location near an objective, which will see some enemy footfall but not so much you are likely to be ambushed. Playing carefully this way also helps your team - in modes such as Slayer you want as few deaths as possible, and in others you want as little downtime for your team to help defend objectives.
- But avoid camping. To clarify the above point, if you hide in a single spot and wait, you are more likely to be at risk of grenades or another surprise attack. Instead, stay in a small area, but keep mobile and aware of your surroundings.
- Check your radar. A useful tip in general, but it's easy to forget that your radar is a good way to know someone is coming. Sometimes, an enemy will try and sneak up on you - and if you can greet them with a Gravity Hammer as they appear, then all the better. Remember the radar works in '2D', meaning it will ping even if someone they are on a level above or below you - but you can also use this to your advantage by sneaking up on them from above if you are quick enough and in the right position.

All Killing Spree Medals in Halo Infinite
There are additional medals awarded as the size of a Killing Spree in Halo Infinite increases. If you continue to eliminate the opposite without dying you will be awarded these medals, in order:
- Killing Spree: 5 kills without dying
- Killing Frenzy: 10 kills without dying
- Killing Riot: 15 kills without dying
- Rampage: 20 kills without dying
- Nightmare: 25 kills without dying
- Boogeyman: 30 kills without dying
- Grim Reaper: 35 kills without dying
- Demon: 40 kills without dying
Multi-kills are closely related to, but distinct from, Killing Sprees. While a Killing Spree can take the entire duration of a map, any kill that contributes to a Multi-Kill must occur within four seconds of the previous kill. If you can pull that off you will earn these medals, as your high speed body count rides:
- Double Kill: kill 2 enemies is rapid succession
- Triple Kill: kill 3 enemies is rapid succession
- Overkill: kill 4 enemies is rapid succession
- Killtacular: kill 5 enemies is rapid succession
- Killtrocity: kill 6 enemies is rapid succession
- Killamanjaro: kill 7 enemies is rapid succession
- Killtastrophe: kill 8 enemies is rapid succession
- Killpocalypse: kill 9 enemies is rapid succession
- Killionaire: kill 10 enemies is rapid succession
Ultimately - practice, patience and a dose of luck is what you need to get Killing Sprees and Multi-Kills. Best of luck!
