Euro Dead Space DLC next week
New suits for Isaac.
EA has told Eurogamer that Dead Space downloadable content released for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the horror title will not go live in Europe until 23rd October, the day before the game's European release.
Earlier we reported on Major Nelson's update that two new suits for protagonist Isaac Clarke had filtered onto Xbox Live.
The first of these, the Elite Suit, is a free level-five suit add-on featuring 360 colours, "upgraded toughness" and extra inventory slots. This is exclusive to 360, obviously, and Nelson's post about it says it's "free for a limited time only". Sounds like it probably gives you an easy ride, too.
Second is the Scorpion Suit, which is another level-five outfit with, er, enhanced armour and fully unlocked slots, except this on is "in an awesome red". Awesome enough to command 200 Microsoft Points, too, which is GBP 1.70 / EUR 2.40 in old money.
EA has told us that PS3 will also get some suit content, and that this and the 360 stuff mentioned above will be available to European gamers next Thursday. It will then be offered for two weeks, according to the publisher. All clear?
