Call of Duty 3 map plans
Xbox add-ons due soon.
Activision plans to start supporting the Xbox 360 version of Call of Duty 3 with new maps in the near future, the publisher said yesterday.
There will be two initial waves of downloadable add-ons, starting after Christmas with a free bonus map called "Champs", and concluding with the Valor Map Pack, which will cost 800 Microsoft points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 10.30).
Champs will take players to Port Royal de Champs in France, says Activision, which is a medium-sized arena, while the Valor Map Pack's five offerings will tour a mazelike cross-section of French locations that are "primed for intense close-quarters action".
Both sets will be playable online, or in split-screen or System Link. What's that? What's this Call of Duty 3, you say? I assume it's this Call of Duty 3.
