Quake 3 sound
As an update to our multimedia article from yesterday, I spotted over on Voodoo Extreme that they have a mail from John Carmack clarifying the lack of EAX support in Quake 3 Arena.
Interestingly, he also mentions that "as soon as I decide to do any more advanced sound work in our next project, the A3D code is going to get ripped out... It will have to justify itself all over again at the end of the next project."
