Watch: Should some franchises stay in the past?
Plus news about the Eurogamer Show.
Hello there.
It's Saturday, which typically means it's time for me to introduce the latest episode of the Eurogamer Show and tell you all about what we've been up to over the past seven days.
This week, however, is a bit different, because there isn't an episode of the Eurogamer Show. After 27 weeks, in fact, we've decided it's time to shake things up a bit. Accordingly, we've put the show on a one or two week hiatus while we get our video ducks in a row.
That isn't to say we haven't had fun producing the Eurogamer Show so far, of course, but somewhere along the line it managed to get away from our original concept. Instead of pressing on with a show we aren't entirely happy with, it made much more sense for us to take a short break and come back refreshed and reinvigorated. We'll be back before you know it. In the meantime, here's the excellent Chris Bratt talking to the indomitable Christian Donlan about franchise reboots and whether we really need them. Enjoy!
