Ubisoft VR games Star Trek: Bridge Crew, Eagle Flight and Werewolves Within get release dates
Here's when VR going to play them.
Ubisoft has announced release dates for its trio of VR games coming later this year.
First up is Eagle Flight, the multiplayer flying game from Ubisoft's FunHouse division, where you soar through historic Paris as a bird of prey, either alone or in multiplayer.
It's rolling out on the three main VR platforms in waves, coming first to Oculus Rift on October 18th, followed by PlayStation VR on November 8th and HTC Vive on December 20th.
Ubisoft's other two releases, Star Trek: Bridge Crew and Werewolves Within, are coming to all three platforms at the same time - on November 29th and December 6th respectively.
As well as digital, both will be available at retail one week later on PS4 for PlayStation VR owners.
Star Trek: Bridge Crew sees you serve on the bridge of a Starfleet ship alongside other Federation crew members, either in multiplayer or alone as the Captain.
It looks somewhat similar to Artemis and mobile game Spaceteam, and was shown at E3 being played by Star Trek actors LeVar Burton, Karl Urban and Jeri Ryan.
Werewolves Within, meanwhile, is a take on the cult party game of a similar name, where five to eight players work together to figure out who the wolves are among them using special abilities and their own deduction skills.
Finally, Ubisoft said TrackMania Turbo will receive VR support on PlayStation VR as part of a free patch on November 8th.
Martin rather liked the main game upon release, giving it a Recommended badge in his TrackMania Turbo review, calling it "a gleeful celebration of one of the finest racing series around".
