Rift 1.5 update detailed
New quests, upgrades, rewards incoming.
A beefy update for Trion Worlds' fantasy MMO Rift is on its way, bringing with it a host of new features, quests and upgrades.
As detailed on the game's official site, the Ashes of History 1.5 patch makes a few big changes, chief among them the addition of new solo and duo quests called Chronicles, which let players take on new versions of the Hammerknell and Greenscale's Blight raid dungeons.
There's also a new PvP Warfront set in Hammerknell's Library of the Runemasters, a new Planar Attunement feature that lets players advance beyond lv. 50 and an elite Master Dungeon mode for Darkening Deeps.
The update brings with it a new World Event too, that sees you repairing the ancient Travel Stones and taking on two dragon cults attempting to overwhelm Telara.
Finally, you'll also get to try out the new mod-driven AddOns system, while subscribers can now pick up Veteran Rewards.
There's no release date for the update as of yet, but it's expected "soon".
