Treasure Bleaches DS

SEGA has revealed that much-loved developer Treasure will be working on its Nintendo DS adaptation of anime and comic-related title, Bleach.

The makers of Gunstar Heroes, Ikaruga, Wario World on Cube and the Game Boy Advance version of Astro Boy will get a crack at Bleach: Souten ni Kakeru Unmei, a 2D fighting game with wireless and single-cart play for up to four players.

Other than that and a Japanese launch of January 26th, 2006 (don’t even count on a UK release date, as SEGA currently doesn’t have plans) details are sparse. But expect more news to trickle through slowly. Probably very slowly. A bit like games on the current DS UK release schedule, then. [Badumtish - Ed]
