Mad Max video shows in-engine footage

Warner Bros. has released a new video for the upcoming open-world Mad Max game, and it shows in-engine footage for the first time.

The Mad Max game, in development at Just Cause studio Avalanche, is due out in 2014 for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The video, called Soul of a Man, shows us Avalanche's take on the Max character, made famous by the films starring Mel Gibson.

We also get a glimpse of close quarters combat and vehicle combat, accompanied by a mystery narrator.

Jeffrey Matulef saw Mad Max at E3 last month and jotted down his thoughts.
