Crush brings "unique" mechanic to PSP
"Very cool premise," says Sega.
Sega has waxed lyrical this morning over the "very cool" and "unique" aspects of its newly signed PSP oddity, Crush.
"The game itself is a very cool sort of puzzle game where you're basically wandering around in 3D worlds and you flatten the worlds in order for you to progress in 2D," said a SEGA Europe spokesperson. "It's very clever the way it's done. It's a very cool premise."
"It's obviously another UK developer that we're working with, that's a big deal," he added.
Developed by Kuju Entertainment, most recently of Battalion Wars fame, the game is "set within a complex, hypnotic 3D world, " according to SEGA's press release. "Players will use the game's unique crush mechanic to 'crush' the environment and transform it into a more simplified 2D platformer."
Crush is due for release in the summer.
