The Xbox Store's latest sale discounts Control, Need for Speed Heat and more
Plus, there's a sale on EA Access.
A number of new sales have kicked off at the Xbox Store that'll be worth a look if you like bizarre supernatural adventures, speedy racers or stomping around in giant mechs.
Let's start off with the 505 Games Publisher sale, where you'll find many of its most popular recent releases are 50 per cent off.
Of the lot, you should definitely give Control a look at £24.99. Remedy's latest is a mystifying and engrossing action-adventure that shows the developer's ingenuity at every turn. Like the game's Oldest House setting, it constantly shifts and contorts to offer something new, especially when dealing with supernatural fallout of the various altered objects that are locked within.
Other 505 Games in the sale include the old school Castlevania-inspired Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night for £17.49, stylish action RPG Indivisible for £16.74 and bright new world explorer Journey to the Savage Planet for £14.99.
Speeding onwards, there's also a garage-full of reduced racing games in the Start Your Engines sale. The offer in pole position here is Need for Speed Heat for £23.99. Martin found it to be a small improvement over more recent entries in his Need for Speed Heat review but still a bit of a bumpy ride.
Last up, here are all the newest additions to the Deals with Gold promotion. Highlights include Destiny 2: Shadowkeep for £17.99, Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition for £3.74 and Battlefield 5 for £13.49. Remember, though, that these prices are available exclusively to Xbox Live Gold members.
After more Xbox offers? You can find many more over at Jelly Deals. We've got our picks for the best Xbox One external hard drive, a look at where you can find the best Xbox Game Pass Ultimate deal and everything you need to know if you're looking for Xbox Series X/S stock.
As a quick aside, I've also spotted that you can get an EA Access 1 Year Membership for £15.99 at Amazon UK - that's £4 off. Operating a bit like Xbox Game Pass, this service allows you to download and play a range of old and new EA games on Xbox One. The Vault (as it's called) currently includes the likes of Madden 20, Anthem and The Sims 4.
