Watch Nvidia's new mobile chip run Unreal Engine 4
Boasts more graphical power than PS3 and Xbox 360, company claims.
Graphics technology company Nvidia has shown off its latest mobile processor, which it says will offer more graphical power than PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360.
The Tegra K1 boasts a 192-core GPU and will be available in tablets in smartphones by this summer, BBC News reports.
Nvidia's current mobile chip, the 72-core Tegra 4, is used in Microsoft's Surface 2 tablet, among other devices.
Speaking ahead of this year's CES 2014 conference, Nvidia boss Jen-Hsun Huang claimed that the Tegra K1 outstripped current-gen (now last-gen?) consoles while using just five per cent of their power.
So how does it look? Wonder no longer - Epic boss Tim Sweeney has already shown off Unreal Engine 4 running on the new technology, as well as his latest neat fleece top.
