Watch: Johnny plays Invisible, Inc. for the first time, ambushes many.
It's this week's Late to the Party.
Invisible, Inc. is one of those games I've been meaning to play ever since it came out. Everyone I know who's played it through is a committed enthusiast (hello Oli Welsh) and yet I never got round to booting it up.
Thank goodness for Chris Bratt, then (there's a sentence I never thought I'd write), for sitting me down and finally getting me to see what all the fuss is about. Turns out everybody was right - Invisible, Inc. is a terrific turn based strategy game, even if it's the kind of game that seems specifically tailored to make me nervous.
In this week's Late to the Party, then, expect a lot of hacking, a lot of sneaking and a brief discussion of whether Chris could pull off a spy coat like Decker's.
Chris told me off camera that Invisible, Inc. was very nearly called Incognita, after the helpful A.I. I think I speak for all of us when I say I am very, very glad that didn't happen.
