Video: Here are all of Limbo's most brutal bits
Mind the gap.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a film grain filter and a big old vignette effect make everything scarier. F. W. Murnau knew it, as did Robert Wiene - and so does Limbo developer Playdead. Though, to be fair, that game would be plenty unsettling without either - what with all the death and spiders and stuff.
More than four years on from its initial release, Limbo is now available for Xbox One. It's easy to forget how horrific this unassuming little puzzle platformer is, so I've gone back through the entire game and collected up all of its most brutal bits. Spoiler warning: the ending is discussed, so don't watch if you'd rather experience it first hand.
