I once had a friend who could never enjoy The Muppets once he had noticed that the theatre audience for The Muppet Show were all muppets themselves. It gave him a kind of species shiver. He found it repellant.
My friend was mad, of course, but even so I hope never never plays Five Nights at Freddy's, a PC horror game about being attacked by loveable cuddly things - animatronics, this time, rather than puppets.
Oh, and I hope he doesn't hear about the fact that Ian's live-streaming the game from 4.30pm BST today.
