Valve reveals The International Dota 2 Championships 2012 details
Moves from Cologne, Germany to Seattle, USA.
Goodbye Kölsch and hello coffee - Valve's moving The International Dota 2 Championships from Cologne, Germany to Seattle, USA.
That's right on Valve's doorstep, which makes sense.
The International debuted last August at huge German gaming expo Gamescom, and offered a glitzy $1 million grand prize.
This year, The International will be held from 31st August to 2nd September. It'll be located in the Benaroya Hall and be part of US gaming expo PAX prime.
The tournament will be broadcast on the internet in all sorts of languages for free.
Dota 2 teams DK (China) and defending champions Na'Vi (Ukraine) have already been invited to take part. There's an official results archive with footage from The International 2011. They sure made it look easy.
Ticket information will be released "in the coming weeks", Valve said.
