Valve Greenlights a fifth set of games for Steam
Surgery Simulator, creepy orphanage horror game, zombies, RPGs...

A fifth set of indie games have been voted for release on Steam via the Steam Greenlight initiative.
They are:
- Surgeon Simulator: A game that does for surgery what the hilariously difficult QWOP did for running.
- Evoland: an RPG adventure akin to Zelda: Link to the Past that evolves from a GameBoy-like presentation through to third-person 3D as you progress through gaming ages.
- War Thunder: A free-to-play World War 2 MMO by Gaijin.
- Legends of Dawn: An ambitious open world RPG that successfully raised the last bit of money it needed for completion on Kickstarter.
- Distance: A neon Tron-like racing game that was also successfully funded on Kickstarter.
- Kingdom Rush: A fantastic tower-defence game we praised on iPad, now beefed up for PC/Mac.
- Huntsman: The Orphanage: an action horror game more about atmosphere and suspense than violence and gore.
- Anodyne: An old-school RPG-styled adventure set in the hero's subconscious. Made a name for itself recently by being advertised on The Pirate Bay.
- Organ Trail: Director's Cut: A very retro-looking zombie survival game that we praised on Android.
- Receiver: Product of a seven-day FPS challenge to explore gun handling mechanics and unordered story telling.
The games are in varying stages of completion; some are available now, others are still finishing up.
Valve's community-thumbs-up idea Steam Greenlight has now helped more than 70 titles be offered distribution agreements on Steam.
