UK Top 40: Zumba Fitness sales rise
Nears record number of weeks on top.
Dance yourself slim game Zumba Fitness has won an eighth consecutive week at number one.
Its sales rose this week, up by 16 per cent, and it outsold the rest of the top five games combined.
It's now been top 11 weeks in total, which makes it the joint third (with FIFA: Road to the World Cup '98 and FIFA Soccer '96) best streak of all time.
If Zumba gets to 16 weeks it beats Wii Fit, in second. Who Wants to be a Millionaire currently holds the record with 18 weeks.
For Zumba to be beaten, new game releases are needed - there are none on this week's chart.
Codemasters racer Dirt 3 finished second, with Disney racer Cars 2 in third. Ubisoft's enhanced Just Dance 2: Extra Songs was fourth, while Lego Pirates of the Caribbean remained buoyant in fifth.
Harry Potter double-teamed seventh and eighth with Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Lego Years 1-4, leaving L.A. Noire in ninth and Call of Juarez: The Cartel tenth.
