UK chart: Metro: Last Light turns up top
But can't beat Metro: 2033's first-week fifth-place tally.
Koch/Deep Silver's new buy Metro: Last Light has stolen first place in the UK video games chart from Dead Island: Riptide, the publisher's other game.
Last Light didn't, however, match the opening week sales of Metro 2033 - arguably the better game. What's alarming about about that is Metro 2033 only managed 5th, and that game was only for two platforms: PC and Xbox 360.
It should be noted, however, that digital sales are not included in the official UK chart.
Elsewhere, besides a new spin-off 3DS Pokemon game - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity - in 4th, there's not much to get excited about.
Dead Island: Riptide was second, FIFA 13 third, Black Ops 2 fifth, Tomb Raider sixth, The Walking Dead seventh, Injustice: Gods Among Us eighth, Assassin's Creed ninth and BioShock Infinite 10th.
