Two Worlds in July
Ongoing content planned.
SouthPeak has cleared the air and announced that Two Worlds will be coming to PC and Xbox 360 in July.
It follows news that the console version had mysteriously slipped of the release radar, with the publisher unable to issue any reasons why.
Both versions will also make use of an MMO-style multiplayer mode, which will continually add more content to the game.
It'll be a completely separate feature from the single-player role-playing experience, and will let you congregate with up-to seven of your friends in a lobby area before heading out and adventuring together. There'll be team matches, horse racing, and all manner of other events to indulge in - all for the hefty sum of nothing. That's right, it's completely free - no subscriptions here.
"We're thrilled with the progress that Two Worlds' multiplayer content is making, although the extensive play-balancing and testing that content requires has necessitated a shift of the release date to late July," said Melanie Mroz, executive vice president of SouthPeak. "We want Two Worlds to truly live up to its potential and gamers can rest assured that it will be well worth the wait."
Two Worlds is a sprawling RPG from Reality Pump, which preaches freedom of choice in player actions. The storyline revolves around a complicated tale of ancient deities and new horrors that put one of a pair of worlds in imminent peril.
