Tomb Raider Wii this year
But exact date still TBA.
Eidos is still unable to confirm exactly when Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be released on Nintendo Wii in Europe, but it did assure us today that it will be this side of Christmas.
Overnight, the publisher's American colleagues confirmed that the Wii version of Crystal Dynamics' brilliant re-imagining of Lara Croft's original platform adventure would appear there on 13th November at a USD 39.99 price point.
An announcement on the European release is, we're told, to be expected "very soon".
PS2 and PC versions of Anniversary were, of course, released earlier this year to tremendous acclaim - something matched this week by the 9/10-scoring Xbox 360 version, which is due for release at retail tomorrow alongside a PSP version.
The game will also be released on Xbox Live Marketplace in four, 600 Microsoft-point chunks for owners of Tomb Raider: Legend to download as an alternative to buying the boxed version, although exact timing for that has yet to be established.
