This is what The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game looks like
Just swinging round Manhattan.
Activision has released a new video of its upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game, showing off gameplay in detail.
Creative director Thomas Wilson reveals the new web-swinging mechanic, combat, stealth and the part of the game in which you play Peter Parker. You can go home to visit Aunt May and "take care of personal business". We also get a look at Parker's wardrobe, which includes a variety of Spider-Man outfits, each with different bonuses.
Activision-owned developer Beenox is the main Spider-Man video game developer, and made 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man. This follow-up launches on 2nd May for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and 3DS, just in time for the new film.
With the new web-swinging mechanic, you decide whether to use Spidey's left or right arm to send out webs with the left or right triggers. Want to use a building on your left? Use the left trigger. From the looks of things you can pick up quite a bit of speed as you swing around Manhattan.
