Team Ninja, creator of Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden, is making a Dissidia Final Fantasy game for Square Enix.
Square Enix today held a press conference in which it revealed the title, due out in Japanese arcades later this year.
The game is being made using the PlayStation 4's "core system of technology", according to Siliconera. You can see the DualShock-inspired controllers in the image, below. So, an eventual PS4 release is expected. But don't hold your breath - the game will remain exclusive to arcades for a year.
The Dissidia Final Fantasy arcade game reboots the series, which saw two releases on PlayStation Portable. It's a brawler of sorts, with characters from across the Final Fantasy games.
