Sony in talks to bring more GTA to PSP
Reckons DS sales will be "interesting".
Sony has confirmed there are plans to bring more Grand Theft Auto games to the PSP.
"No one should sleep on that franchise. That’s a tremendous franchise for PlayStation in general," exec John Koller told MTV.
"We’ve had two that are the top two sellers on PSP right now. So, there’s definitely continued conversations with Rockstar on all their brands. That’s nothing that’s left the PlayStation family."
That doesn't mean the series isn't appearing on other platforms, of course. First came the Lost and Damned downloadable content for Xbox 360, and now Rockstar is gearing up to release GTA: Chinatown Wars for the DS. But according to MTV, Koller's not so sure it'll suit the audience for Nintendo's handheld, which he reckons is mostly gamers under the age of 12.
"It’s an interesting launch on DS,” Koller said. "It raises some eyebrows in a lot of areas. It’ll be interesting to see how that sells."
GTA: Chinatown Wars is out here on 20th March.
