Skate, MOH demos soon
EA reckons next week.
EA has told Eurogamer that Live Marketplace demos for Skate and Medal of Honor: Airborne are likely to go up next week.
The Skate demo had previously been expected on Tuesday, but was dragged back from release at the last moment due to a few technical snags with the ambitious feature which will allow you to capture your own footage and upload it for others.
Meanwhile a date for the Medal of Honor: Airborne demo is still being finalised, and EA expects official confirmation early next week - with a tentative release of the taster pencilled for the following Thursday or Friday.
Unfortunately demos for PS3 and PC are still being worked on, and no dates are so far being mentioned.
The full version of Skate is due out 12th October on PS3 and 360, and EA hopes it will provide us with a sturdy and more realistic alternative to the genre defining Tony Hawk's games. We had a go on it recently and found out it was living up to the promise. Head over to our first impressions of Skate to find out why.
Medal of Honor: Airborne is another instalment in the famous World War II shooter series, built around the idea of letting you parachute to a drop-zone of your choosing - opening the game into free-roaming territory. Tom managed to get his hands on the game at E3 in July, and found the game refreshed the increasingly stagnant series. Drop-in to his impressions for a closer examination.
Airborne is due for release on 14th September for PC and 360, with the PS3 version TBC.
