Rust sells 1m
"Guess what just happened to Rust :0"
Open-world survival game Rust has sold a whopping 1m copies.
That's despite the game being in alpha.
The impressive sales milestone was revealed by developer Garry Newman on Twitter.
"Guess what just happened to Rust :0 " he wrote.
Then, responding to a Twitter follower who asked if Newman's Ferrari was made out of gold or diamonds, he joked: "It's made out of millions of Ferraris."
At the time of publication Rust is the second top selling game on Steam, behind fellow Early Access survival game DayZ. Richard Cobbett braved Rust's open world for Eurogamer's alpha review.
