An Honest Mistake
An Honest Mistake objectives:
- Save Uncle when he is overpowered
- Get 20 headshots
- Complete with at least 80% accuracy
- Complete the mission without taking any health items
This appeared for us after American Distillation, and can be found by talking to Molly O'Shea in the camp.
Follow Uncle and the gang to the destination, where you'll rob a stagecoach. After the cutscene is a chase. Simply follow the rest of the group - there's no need to shoot anyone behind you, and eventually you'll head into some woods and a barn.
Let the events from the barn play out - you just act as an observer. Soon and rather predictably, there's a firefight.
This is the toughest part of the mission. Listen to your gang call out the directions enemies are coming from, and switch your focus accordingly to stop you getting overwhelmed by fire.
The mini-map is some use, but remember if you look in the general direction of an enemy, then hold L2 / Left Shoulder to aim, it will snap to an enemy, allowing you to pick them off faster.
Eventually the barn sets on fire, and you have to flee out the back. When in the woods, wait until the guards stop before moving in for a stealth kill, then use a melee attack to help Uncle on the ground.
After this, rush to the other pair and clear the enemies to complete the mission - and get a healthy share of $123 for completing it.
