QUBE for Wii U revealed
"Quite possibly" for Vita, too.
QUBE's developer Toxic Games suggested that its PC first-person puzzler could be heading to Wii U and Vita.
"We just had our first peak of QUBE running on the Wii U controller and it's looking fantastic! Can't wait to get this out," said the developer on Twitter, who followed it with a pic of QUBE running on the Wii U GamePad.
When a fan asked if it would be coming to Vita too, Toxic Games responded, "quite possibly!"
QUBE was the first game to be backed by the Indie Fund, which later went on to back such projects as Antichamber, Dear Esther and The Swapper. QUBE was generally well received, though it was often compared unfavourably to Portal, which is arguably took too much inspiration from. Its "creativity is smothered under slavish imitation of the aesthetics and structure of the Portal series, and such a large influence is malign," wrote our Rich Stanton in his 6/10 QUBE review.
