Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon - Pokémon League, Elite Four Molayne, Olivia, Acerola and Kahili
The Pokémon League functions is the same way as those before it - four elite trainers (the Elite Four...) each in their own room, and no way to exit until you've beaten all four of them.
Working your way round clockwise, you'll face Molayne, Olivia, Acerola and Kahili. Here's how their teams shape up:
Elite Four Molayne
Trainer | Pokémon 1 | Pokémon 2 | Pokémon 3 | Pokémon 4 | Pokémon 5 | Pokémon 6 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Molayne | Klefki (L.56) | Bisharp (L.56) | Magnezone (L.56) | Metagross (L.56) | Alolan Dugtrio (L.57) | None |
All of Molayne's Pokémon are weak to Fire and Ground, with some even 4x weak to Ground, and many others weak to Fighting, too. He shouldn't prove too much of an issue!
Elite Four Olivia
Trainer | Pokémon 1 | Pokémon 2 | Pokémon 3 | Pokémon 4 | Pokémon 5 | Pokémon 6 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Olivia | Armaldo (L.56) | Cradily (L.56) | Gigalith (L.56) | Probopass (L.56) | Lycanroc Midnight Form (L.57) | None |
Olivia's Pokémon don't have any singular weakness across the board, but you'll do well with Fighting, Steel, Water and Ground-type attacks, and a combination of those should steer you clear.
Elite four Acerola
Trainer | Pokémon 1 | Pokémon 2 | Pokémon 3 | Pokémon 4 | Pokémon 5 | Pokémon 6 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Acerola | Banette (L.56) | Drifblim (L.56) | Dhelmise (L.56) | Froslass (L.56) | Palossand (L.57) | None |
Acerola's Pokémon are all weak to Dark and Ghost-type attacks, whilst Fire and Rock are a couple common weaknesses too.
Elite four Kahili
Trainer | Pokémon 1 | Pokémon 2 | Pokémon 3 | Pokémon 4 | Pokémon 5 | Pokémon 6 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Kahili | Braviary (L.56) | Hawlucha (L.56) | Oricorio Red (L.56) | Mandibuzz (L.56) | Toucannon L.57) | None |
Kahili is a former trial-goer herself, but she doesn't seem to have learned many lessons along the way. All of her Pokémon are weak to Electric attacks, with four also weak to Rock and Ice, too.
Challenger Hau
Trainer | Pokémon 1 | Pokémon 2 | Pokémon 3 | Pokémon 4 | Pokémon 5 | Pokémon 6 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Hau (Rowlet) | Primarina (L.60) | Flareon (L.58) | Alolan Raichu (L.59) | Crabominable (L.59) | Noivern (L.58) | Tauros (L.58) |
Hau (Litten) | Decidueye (L.60) | Vaporeon (L.58) | Alolan Raichu (L.59) | Crabominable (L.59) | Noivern (L.58) | Tauros (L.58) |
Hau (Popplio) | Incineroar (L.60) | Leafeon(L.58) | Alolan Raichu (L.59) | Crabominable (L.59) | Noivern (L.58) | Tauros (L.58) |
Hau has a solid team of varied Pokémon, tailored to counter your starter with his respective Eevee evolution. Ground and Rock are weaknesses shared by a couple of his team, but otherwise this one's all about good rotation and type knowledge. Good luck!

There's also trouble with none other than Team Rainbow Rocket, your version's Legendary (Solgaleo or Lunala) to be caught back on Mahalo Trail where you met Lillie, which can now be combined with Necrozma to form Dawn Wings or Dusk Mane and Ultra Necrozma, and then there's your version's Ultra Beast - Blacephalon in Ultra Sun and Stakataka in Ultra Moon - to hunt down in Poni Grove, too!
