More DOA Volleyball 2 news
Cameraman mode promised.
Team Ninja boss Tomonobu Itagaki has revealed that the sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball will feature a cameraman mode.
In an interview with Famitsu, Itagaki said you'll be able to take shots of all your favourite scenes and preferred poses. And to make sure the ladies you'll be photographing look lovelier than ever, Team Ninja is designing a whole new beach wear range, using fancy cloth simulation technology.
There will be a variety of modes to choose from, and they won't all be based around volleyball - although that's all Itagaki's saying for the moment. He also declined to reveal whether all of the modes will be playable online.
According to Itagaki, the game is coming along nicely - Team Ninja were hard at work throughout January and February, despite the fact they were also producing an online update for DOA4. Itagaki joshed that if Team Ninja were developing games any faster, he'd be dead.
He admitted that disk space had caused problems for the team when it came to Dead or Alive 4 - apparently they used all the available space up far too fast, and had to make lots of last minute adjustments. They're keeping a closer eye on things when it comes to DOAX2, though.
Team Ninja is set to reveal more of the game at E3, including the non-volleyball related modes - so roll on May.
