New Capcom games at E3
Announcements on the way.
Playable versions of Lost Planet and Dead Rising will be Capcom's big next-generation titles on the floor at E3, the publisher's announced - but don't be surprised if they slip in a few hefty announcements when we're all settling in.
Because there'll be plenty of playable demos, as ever, but new game announcements are definitely on the way. That very likely covers PlayStation 3 - something Capcom's known to be developing for (with Resident Evil 5 and Devil May Cry), but has said relatively little about it. And then of course there's Revolution, and Xbox 360 getting ready for its second Christmas.
In terms of what we can expect to play on the floor, the key games will be Okami, God Hand and Street Fighter Alpha Anthology (PS2), Lost Planet and Dead Rising (X360), Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins and Monster Hunter Freedom (PSP), Megaman ZX (DS) and Megaman Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar and Falzar (GBA).
We recently had the chance to play some of those E3 demos, including Lost Planet, Okami and Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins, and although it isn't on Capcom's announced list, don't be surprised if Powerstone Collection makes an appearance too - when we popped round the other day, Capcom had a working version of the PSP game up and running and it was looking fairly good.
Whatever turns up once we're there though, expect it to be all over the internet as soon as anybody gets to a keyboard.
