Capcom polls for PSP dev suggestions
Publisher asks Japanese gamers what they'd like to see.
Capcom is keen to extend its support of the PlayStation Portable, which launched in Japan on December 12th, and has been polling visitors to its Japanese website for what sort of games they would like to see the company developing.
Already Capcom has shipped Vampire Chronicle for PSP, with Viewtiful Joe and Devil May Cry games scheduled for release next year, but it seems that the publisher is open to all sorts of suggestions - and has taken particular interest in gamers' views of how it should approach the PSP's wireless LAN features, and how preferred genres might be combined with co-operative or competitive wireless multiplay.
The online poll also asks which of a wide range of Capcom titles fans might like to see revived on the PSP. As well as Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry and a couple of Japanese names we don't recognise, the list includes the likes of Resident Evil, Onimusha, Megaman (in various flavours), Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, Capcom's SNK and Marvel beat-'em-up crossovers, Rival Schools, Breath of Fire and Ghouls 'n' Ghosts.
You can find the poll (in Japanese) here on Capcom's website.
