Scarface cast announced
James Woods! Ice-T! Gervais!
Vivendi has unveiled the cast list for Scarface: The World is Yours, revealing that several actors who starred in the original movie will also appear in the game.
That won't include Pacino himself, since - as a Vivendi bigwig told us recently - he's getting on a bit and isn't able to do the voice any more. But you can expect to see Robert Loggia, who plays Frank Lopez, Steven Bauer (Manny Ribera) and Al Israel (Hector the Toad).
You'll also see Pacino's likeness in the game. Tony Montana's voice will be provided by an actor who was hand picked by Mr P himself, and who does rather a good job at it actually.
Making up the rest of the cast is a long list of stars, including movie veterans James Woods, Elliott Gould and Michael York, plus Richard Roundtree (Shaft!) and Rick Yune (the baddie off Die Another Day!). There will also be voice performances from Cheech, Chong and Jason Mewes (but not Silent Bob, for obvious reasons).
As for people off the telly, they've got Daniel Day Kim (Jin off of Lost), Willa Holland (Kaitlin off of The O.C.) and Ricky Gervais (is he in Fawlty Towers or something?). Oh, and Bam Margera of Jackass fame.
Stars from the world of music include Tommy Lee (who's also a star of the Internet, of course), Ice-T and N.O.R.E., plus B. Real and Sen Dog out of Cypress Hill. And as if all that wasn't enough, Vivendi says additional cast members will be announced later in the year.
Scarface: The World is Yours is out this autumn on PC, PS2, Xbox and PSP.
