New Zelda: A Link Between Worlds trailer shows off "Lorule"
I see what you did there.
A new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds reveals that the game's second "dark world" will be entitled "Lorule."
I wish I were making that up.
The trailer also introduces us to Princess Zelda's Lorule counterpart. Hilda. Uh huh.
Daft naming conventions aside, the game otherwise looks really good. I must confess to not liking the polygonal Link after admiring the wide-eyed Wind Waker-look he's sported on handhelds over the last decade, but the somewhat gimmicky focus on portraying various degrees of depth is attractive. And based on this trailer, the game seems to retain the series' cutesy charm, such as when Link smashes head first into a wall when Ganon shifts into the second dimension.
Furthermore, you'll be able to tackle dungeons in any order - a first for the series. Game changer!
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds will be out on 3DS on 22nd November.
