With the launch of Modern Warfare 3 Season 3, there are 49 total weapons released in MW3, with more on the horizon not just from the current season, but future seasons too.
You can use these alongside all 77 weapons from MW2 as well, all of which are here to acquire alongside the suite of new weapons. All together, it brings the total number of weapons available in Modern Warfare 3 to 126 as of the launch of Season 3.

How to unlock all new weapons in Modern Warfare 3
As of Season 3's 3rd April 2024 launch, there have been three new weapons added with another one coming later in the season, and more to come in future seasons. That's a grand total of 49 weapons usable right now, not including the returning MW2 weapons you can also unlock.
Don't worry if you missed any previous MW3 season as weapons released during past releases are each still earnable whenever you play, each with their own new unlock requirements. This is typically via the Armory, or a weapon-specific challenge that is visible when selecting the weapon in the menu. Since unlock requirements change for many of these weapons over time, it's can be worth double-checking in your own game to be sure how to acquire a previously-released weapon.

How to unlock all returning weapons in Modern Warfare 3
There are 77 guns and melee weapons returning to Modern Warfare 3 that were first released for Modern Warfare 2. If you previously unlocked one of these weapons in MW2, then it will automatically be available when you reach player Level 4 in MW3.
