Microsoft publishes, pulls Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD XBLA release date
UPDATE: Eurogamer source indicates THPSHD is part of Summer of Arcade.
UPDATE: A source has told Eurogamer that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is indeed part of Microsoft's Summer of Arcade promotion, as is Kinect physics-based score attack game Wreckateer.
ORIGINAL STORY: The publisher-driven leaks continue: this time it's Microsoft.
StickSkills noticed Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD pop up on the Xbox Marketplace, where it remains. What doesn't remain is the release date: 11th July, since pulled. The game had been pegged for launch some time this summer.
Current speculation points to the game being a part of Microsoft's Summer of Arcade promotion. More information is expected this week.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD contains spruced up versions of levels from the first two games in the series, developed by Robomodo. Classic levels from the third entry in the series will release as post-launch DLC. Franchise namesake Tony Hawk himself gets the final call on which levels make the cut.
