Mario Rabbids Challenge 1-4 All-In-One solution
How to defeat all enemies in a single turn in Challenge 1-4.
Challenge 1-4 All-in-One in Mario Rabbids has a simple but challenging problem - defeat all enemies in a single turn, including a powerful Smasher. This article explains how to do it.
If you want to unlock this and other Mario Rabbids Challenges in World 1 you must have defeated Rabbid Kong first.
Mario Rabbids Challenge 1-4 All-In-One explained
Difficulty: Easy
Win Condition: Defeat All
Turn Limit: 1
Reward: 150 Coins, 2 Power Orbs
The aim is to dish out as much damage as possible so you clear the battlefield in a single turn. There are three Ziggys - two out in the open close together, and another at the other side next to an explosive crate - and a big powerful Smasher right in the middle.
First of all, you want to equip yourself with the best possible weapons so you deal more damage. Additionally, upgrading your abilities - or resetting them and pooling them into damage-dealing, such as increased damage from Dashes or Mario's Stomp Jump - is worthwhile.
If you are struggling, remember you can always come back later in the game when you are much more powerful to complete this far easier.
That said, it is possible to do it as soon as you complete World, provided you buy new weapons and spend Power Orbs in the right places to give your team an edge.
Challenge 1-4 All-In-One solution
The way we have managed to do it consistently is through the following steps. We used Mario, Rabbid Peach and Luigi, and though Mario's attacks were key, you could swap the other characters for any others if you fancy.
Mario's Turn
Jump from the head of an ally and Stomp Jump on the Smasher to deal damage first of all. Then, land next to the two Ziggys nearby. Finish his turn by using the Hammer. If you've specced right, they should both die in a single blow, otherwise you may need another character to finish them off.
Second character's turn
Slide into the Smasher (and if still alive, the remaining weakened Ziggy that Mario just attacked) and shoot the Ziggy behind the explosive crate. You want a 0% chance of success here so you hit the crate, blowing it up and taking down the Ziggy with it.
Third character's turn
The third and final character focuses on the remaining Smasher. Slide into it, then shoot. If you have dealt enough damage, it should go down and the challenge is complete.
If enemies are left, then consider sticking Overwatch-style abilities (such as Luigi's Steely Stare) on to do a final wave of damage during the enemy's turn.
Again, the key here is to deal as much as damage as possible. If you are struggling, waiting until you are levelled up will make this encounter easier, but by making use of your many types of attacks - such as dashes before attacking, Mario's unique Stomp Jump and targeting the explosive crate - it's possible to clear it as soon as the Challenge is available.
