Logitech don't mouse around when it comes to wireless tech.
When it comes to finding a wireless gaming mouse, you'll no doubt want to improve your gaming experience rather than hinder it. Aside from there being one less cable to clutter up your desk, a wireless gaming mouse is also great for easier movement and portability.
If you're thinking of switching from a wired mouse to a non-wired one, you're probably wondering how lag, latency, connectivity, and battery life is affected. While some earlier wireless mice had their hiccups, you'll be pleased to know there is an excellent selection on the market these days that offer the same reliability and responsiveness as the wired variety.
One wireless gaming mouse you can expect outstanding performance from is Logitech's G502 Lightspeed.
It includes the same great features as its highly revered predecessor, the G502 Hero, including the excellent Hero 25k optical sensor (up to 25,600 DPI) for more precise performance, plus an adjustable weights system for improved tracking, movement and targeting. It also has 11 programmable buttons, dual-mode hyper-fast scroll buttons and customizable RGB lighting.
Even better, it's on sale at Amazon UK for £79.99, down from £129.99 and offering a saving of £50. Amazon US has also reduced its price to $104.

According to Digital Foundry's Will Judd, the G502 Lightspeed performs just as well as the G502 Hero, and is even worth considering over the wired Razer Basilisk V3. Will also notes the G502 Lightspeed's battery life is 'good at 48 hours with lighting and 60 hours without, and you can get 2.5 hours of battery life in five minutes of charging'.
You may ask, why is the wireless variant almost double the price of the G502 Hero? Well, the G502 Lightspeed has been upgraded with ultra-responsive 1ms Lightspeed wireless tech, meaning you can enjoy speedy and more accurate gaming, without cable-drag. It also means you don't have to worry about tangled up cables when you're on the move.
If this is the wireless mouse for you, we think you'll quickly appreciate its fantastic value and performance. If you're not fussed on having a wireless gaming mouse, the wired G502 Hero is also reduced right now to just £44.78. It's not the cheapest we've seen it but it still has a decent £35 saving.
