List of E3 exhibitors aired
Some big names are missing out.
The Entertainment Software Association has let loose its list of exhibitors for the E3 Media & Business Summit 2008.
Attending so far are around 40 of the names you see on boxes and in headlines from day-to-day, such as all three platform holders as well as the likes of Capcom, EA, Ubisoft and SEGA.
However, among those missing are Activision and new best friend Vivendi, as well as NCsoft and id Software.
Last summer was the inaugural year for the downsized and renamed E3 event, which moved from the LA Convention Centre to Santa Monica, where it was scattered across numerous hotels.
The move cost over USD 5 million in various cancellation fees, reportedly, and has been scrapped this year in favour of a return to the Los Angeles location
The E3 Media & Business Summit 2008 will also continue to be an invite-only trade event. We've had our invites, phew, so we'll be on hand to bring you news of all the exciting bits as they happen.
We may even see Afrika.
